Premitel have been supplying and installing office phone systems (ie PBXs) for over 20 years and are not tied to any particular PBX vendor.
The advantage of dealing with Premitel is that we offer a complete turnkey solution when supplying a PBX.
In addition to installing and configuring the PBX, we can install the cabling, organise the phone lines and assist with related technologies and services (such as computer networking) that may be impacted by the supply and installation of a new PBX.
We also offer a DIY service where (after advising on the most appropriate phone system and configuration) we will build the system to your specification and pre-configure it. We will then deliver it to you ready for connection to your lines and extensions. Ideally the phone system should also be connected to your computer network so that we have remote access to the phone system for additional configuration and on going support.
The DIY service is therefore designed to be used by businesses that have access to some basic telephone cabling and computer networking skills.
Although we are not tied to a particular PBX vendor, we do have preferred PBXs which we believe are best in their class. Currently our preferred PBXs are:
- Siemens DX800a
- NEC SL1100
- Aastra 400
Despite our preference for the PBXs listed above, Premitel will continue to offer PBXs from other vendors such as Panasonic if these provide a better match for a customer’s requirements. We can also supply second-user equipment if our customer has any budgetary constraints.
We can also provide lease financing if required.
